Ingredients & Composition:

Micodin shampoo contains:

Chlorhexidine gluconate   2% w/v
Miconazole nitrate    2% w/v

Description / Action: 

Micodin Medicated Shampoo is an ideal antibacterial-antifungal shampoo for therapeutic cleansing with pH balanced formulation for dogs and cats. Chlorhexidine gluconate and Miconazole nitrate combination help in treating skin related issues like Seborrheic dermatitis, Malassezia pachydermatis, and smelly skin.

Indication / Uses:

Micodin/Mycodin medicated shampoo is indicated for

• Seborrheic dermatitis
• Malassezia pachydermatis (Staphylococcus)
• Pruritus,
• Erthyma,
• Exudation, Scaly, Greasy and Smelly skin.
• As an adjunct to topical therapy in Pyoderma and Demodicosis.

Dosage and administration:

Apply sufficient shampoo to create a rich lather over the entire body. Allow it to remain on coat for 5 to 10 min. And then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Can be repeated initially two to three times a week for 4 weeks, then reducing to once a week.

Overdoses / Side effects / Contraindications /Warnings:

Overdosing with topical preparation like shampoo is unlikely to happen. Avoid applying area near eyes.

Pharmaceutical precautions / Instructions: 

Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature (25°C). Protect from direct sunlight.

Strictly for veterinary use. Keep reach out the children.
